@Scott Webb – You’re right, there’s a lot to do with HDR but I wanted to stick to basics. Maybe later there can be a more advanced tutorial on it.

This is helpful for beginners for sure! There are aspects I’d love to get into more and the author probably did too but had to limit it. I personally think a lot of extra aspects are finalized via photoshop and I can’t stress enough to have fun and experiment with the tone mapping.
