I really love not only the photos but the insightful commentary. I have viewed this series several times now and it never fails to amaze. The last photo, the little boy holding his sister is just incredible-a glowing smile in a sea of discord. Great work.

It really gives another dimension to your beautiful photos, to know the story behind them and the thoughts and emotions you were going through when you were there.

I really do believe that you have a special talent observing children and capturing their innocence…I saw that on your website as well, with the stunning shots of kids in Cuba, Turkey and China…

Sounds like quite an experience. That tension you discuss created by traveling with troops becomes obvious in the pics after reading the background you’ve given us – really very helpful and would love to see/hear more!.

Amazing shots.

Each photo brings out an emotion and provides a direct portal into Haiti. Not every photographer can manage to keep focused when surrounded by war and poverty along with a people that don’t want to be photographed. Very impressed.
