A nice well thought out comprehensive article on some of the basic do’s and don’ts of this type of photography. Most people leave out the fact that the photographer really needs to engage his subject, and not just use the typical “smile, turn, turn, chin up, head back” commands. Its good to work with a photographer that has a personality and makes you feel at ease. If you the model feel uncomfortable, that will be apparent in the images.
